Who we are

We are a registered non-profit organisation initiated in 2015 by Annet Michelle Sewraj. Nation Builders values the important role that women, youth and children play in our society and believe that an investment made into their development will transform and uplift our communities and nation.

We endeavor to improve the wholistic well-being of children and youth via various programmes and trainings as well as to champion and advocate the rights of children. Nation Builders also strives to empower and resource the women of South Africa to become significant contributors to the development and betterment of our nation. By equipping them through different workshops seminars and skills development programmes we believe the women of our communities can become fundamental builders of society.

Our vision

At the heart of our vision is Nation Building and National Transformation, hence our name. We endeavour to actively participate in this process of nation building and have identified women, youth and children as indispensable contributors in fulfilling our vision. Thus we aim to invest into and develop these once marginalised and undervalued groups, by starting with our local communities and then implementing our programs nationally.

Our goal is to:

  • Empower and equip women to become significant contributors in every sphere and sector of society
  • Educate the next generation of youth and children to become active stakeholders and participants in nation building.
  • Advocate the rights of women, youth and children.

Our mission

We intend to accomplish our goals by offering the following:

  • Training programs
  • Skills development workshops
  • Seminars
  • Conferences
  • Community development projects

These projects are geared towards improving the wholistic well-being of our target groups as well as to resource and upgrade to become fundamental builders of society.
